CoCo La Rue Signature Hair Extensions Collection is made with all human
hair strands and it can be colored. However we do not recommend
coloring the extensions because you may damage them.
Can CoCo La Rue Signature brand of extensions be colored, tone, or
bleach my hair extensions? Since CoCo La Rue Hair Extensions are made
of 100% human hair, they can be dyed a darker color or toned by a
professional hair colorist, who has had previous experience with coloring
hair extensions. If you do decide to get them dyed, we recommend you
cut off a piece of the weft to be tester first prior to dyeing/toning the full
set to ensure that you are satisfied with the results.
We strongly do not recommend getting hair extensions colored a lighter shade, as it will require them to be bleached. Bleaching is a harmful chemical process that can alter the quality of your set, and even damage it.
If you are in-between shades, we recommend going for the lighter color and taking your hair extensions to a rofessional hair colorist to have them dye your set a darker shade in order to achieve an overall match. Similarly, if you have highlights, we recommend going for a shade that matches the lightest highlight in your hair, and having a professional hair colorist add in low-lights to your set. Another option would be to purchase 3 colors and them all together, this with give you the perfect high- lights.
